If your loved one is under hospice care, we guarantee to honor the price we quote if our prices increase for any reason.
aCremation is special because our caring professionals are not incentivized to up-sell services or merchandise like many funeral homes or mortuaries. The measurement of their success is how well they assist families through this difficult time.
Talk to our Care Team or complete our online arrangement form. When death occurs, we will take your loved one into our care.
Paperwork is prepared and sent to the family. We contact the doctor for authorization, and file the death certificate.
Your loved one is cremated in a licensed crematory using the most up-to-date identification methods.
When the cremation is complete, we will notify you. Remains can be picked up or shipped within the continental United States.
The typical timeframe for completing the cremation is 7-10 business days. However, each and every situation is different based on the type of passing and when and where the passing occurred. Our aCremation Team Member will give you a better idea of the timing of cremation, once we have gathered the information and haven spoken to the different medical authorities. There are steps that are just simply outside of our control, such as the timing of the doctor signing the death certificate, possible Medical Examiner investigations, the timing of the family signing the cremation documents by way of electronic signature, securing the final cremation permits from the County and State of Texas, etc.
Securing and acquiring the certified copies of the Texas Death Certificate takes much longer than the timing of the cremation; usually about 3 weeks after the date of death. The certified copies of the Texas Death Certificate comes from the State of Texas itself once they are processed and certified. Only then are the Death Certificates mailed to the funeral home, but aCremation will keep you updated throughout the whole process with all of the timing and will call you the minute the Death Certificates are available.
It was very easy and taken care of in a timely manner.
Everyone was very caring and it was a good experience at a hard time.
They couldn't have been more compassionate and helpful.
The staff was respectful and professional from start to finish. Thank you!
I was given a price and was not pressured to add anything to it but just what I needed. All my questions were answered. It was much easier than I feared it would be. I received his cremains back in a timely manner and was not pushed to buy an urn.
aCremation was recommend by a Hospice nurse. I was able to make arrangements over the phone. There are no words for the kindness I was shown. Everything went exactly as I was told - no hidden costs, no delays, no stress.
The whole process was easy. I would not hesitate in recommending them.
You took care of both my parents with such dignity and respect. I won't forget your compassion.
